This egg seems to shimmer in different shades of blue, depending how light falls on it.

Aww...It's a cute baby dragon. Its face has a strange, insectlike quality to it.

... And look, it's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing. Its wings look fragile, like a butterfly's.

Freedom dragons are relatively small but extremely maneuverable in the air, rapidly fluttering their fragile-looking wings like hummingbirds. They mostly feed on nectar and pollen, like butterflies, but will occasionally eat meat. Their iridescent scales appear in different shades of blue, depending on the angle light reflects off them, giving rise to their nickname, Sky Sapphires.
