Kess on Dinosaur CGI Specials:
"No wonder the dinosaurs died out.
They wasted too much energy during hard times with wiggling and mooing. And they weren't really aware of their surroundings, constantly getting nommed by obvious threats."
Sad thing is... that's pretty much the common thread to these specials. Wannabe nature documentaries that show extinct animals acting... Not naturally. Yay for the human mind, eh?

Although look at the relatives in question. Birds and reptiles. They're pretty clueless. XD I could walk outside and kill a dozen of my chickens barehanded without much effort, and half the time my iguana doesn't even realize a cat is about to pounce on her.
I'm guessing documenters reference the sheer stupidity of reptiles and birds for their speshuls. :3
But you're right. They SHOULD be a little more inventive one of these times. Either that or we should get degrees and show them how its done. Or just...clone our own species. XD What? With the right uterus and enough time it could be done! XD I'm just saying.
