So yeah. I've been watching the last couple of episodes of Pokeymans.

Yes, I can't believe it either.



Oh god the Candice gym battle. Oh god.

Candice is one of those people in the anime that make my RAGE factor kick in. I don't know what it is about her that gets under my skin, but there's definitely something.

But this episode had it all - from ICE SKATING SNEASELS and WOLVERINE GROTLE (I've just been informed it's Rock Climb. But what the hell.) through Kamikaze Birds and martial arts focus cliches on monkeys to MOST EPIC WTF EXPRESSIONS. EVER.

And as for the Jindai/Shinji episode. It's... just... SO awesome to watch that purple-haired brat get what's coming to him by a guy who flies around in a big-ass CGI pyramid and GOES WITH HIS REGISTEEL. Cheap as using legendaries is, Jindai just frelling radiates awesome.

Can't wait to see Shinji's upcoming battle against Ash. I'm kinda rooting for Ash to be honest. Much as I don't generally like Ash, I dislike Shinji a HELL of a lot more and he needs a wake-up call. Maybe being defeated by someone he DOESN'T respect will get him thinking and do some, you know, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT on the guy.

Because judging by his treatment of Torterra he CAN be not-an-ass sometimes. >>;

But yeah. It was an interesting episode alright - the battle between Shinji and Jindai oddly makes me think of multiple battles between Domon Kasshu and Master Asia in G Gundam - in the sense that Shinji seemed a bit like he was lashing out blindly with anger rather than fighting with a calm mind, which is sort of what got him pwned. Or maybe I watch too much anime. Hmm.
