Nov. 22nd, 2009 04:24 amThe giant-ass X-ACTO knife that the average EVA unit carries is called a "progressive knife". That is because this series progressively makes less and less sense. We would have made a pun about Occam's Razor here, but then Shinji would have probably attempted to cut himself with it, so we'll refrain.

Date: 2009-11-22 05:57 pm (UTC)Me? Ech. It's been probably the roughest five days of 2009 without a doubt, can't eat much, can't talk much, can't smile nor laugh at all (THAT is really destroying me as I'm sure you can understand since you know how I am normally) and I've developed a speech impediment. Hopefully it will vamoos when the pain and swelling goes but there's that little voice in the back of my head thinking otherwise. Might start wearing purple and donning some White Pancake before leaving the house in future... The stitches are what is causing most of the discomfort but the inability to enjoy life is the cause of my not being around lately. Going back for a chat with the surgeon on Wednesday and hopefully that'll be that for this year; I'm so behind in plans and that comission offline it's going to be a horrendous December for stress levels. But I'm optimistic that everything will turn out all right in the end. The whole time in the chair (eesh that is painful to even recall or type) I had a quote from "GaoGaiGar Final" running through my head as I succumbed to nerves and shaking; "with courage we can do anything". It helped, as sad as that is to admit. Mind you, the anaesthetic helped a great deal. Haha.
Err yes. Sorry for that essay. To answer your question, I'm feeling terrible.
