As it turns out, there's more than one way to get an Epic Sunmoth. You can get an egg from some guy on some route that hatches into Merarva, the pre-evolution form of Urgamoth. So you don't absolutely HAVE to catch the level 70 one in the castle of doom, but it would certainly make things faster seeing as the blasted thing evolves into Urgamoth at level bloody 59. XD

But I kinda want to raise a Merarva anyway. Just because it's adorable. ^^;
