Been a while since last update, eh? Well, I tried to update, but had nothing much to say. Y'know, the usual amounts of Mental Static. ^^;

Life has been rather crazy for me lately... My sleep and wake cycles have been flipping out (Not to mention that a few days ago I haven't slept for an entire day). Has a bunch of freaky dreams, neither of which made any sense, and were just going on the usual theme of pure randomness which I end up usually forgetting. ^^;

I started playing StarCraft again. I already finished the Precursor campaign, the three StarCraft campaigns and the Protoss Brood War campaign. Which reminded me just how much I love Arbiters. Damn, that's one ship I wouldn't mind having in reality. Not that i'd be able to pilot it due to the fact it seems to require infintesmal amounts of mind power, but what the Hades. ^^;

Protoss end cinematics rock.
I hate the UED.
Kerrigan is one of the best villains that ever were in a game. But she needs to work on her outfit. ;P

The stupidity of some humans amazes me. It's HOUNDOUR, not HOUNDOOR! Geeze. Houndoor indeed.

Well, I guess i'm kind of out of what to say. Let's just post this. ^^;

Well, I was checking out the SadGeezer's guide to Babylon 5 again, and found out about a sci-fi series i've never heard of before, named "Firefly". I saw the introduction from it, and developed quite a liking to the theme song, Ballad of Serenity. The title of this entry is part of the lyrics.

The series itself looks very interesting. Science fiction meets the wild west, heh heh. I quote the intro's narrative on it, and the lyrics to the song.

"After the earth was used up, we found a new solar system and hundreds of new Earths were terraformed and colonized. The central planets formed 'The Alliance', And decided all planets must join under their rule.

...There was some disagreement on that point.

After the war, many of the independents who have fought and lost drifted to the edges of the system, far from alliance control. Out here, people struggle to get by with the most basic technologies. A ship would bring you work. A gun would help you keep it.

A captain's goal was simple. Find a crew, find a job. Keep flying.

(End narrative, cue theme song)

Take my love, take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
I don't care, I'm still free
You can't take the sky from me

Take me out to the black
Tell them I ain't coming back
Burn the land and boil the sea
You can't take the sky from me

There's no place I can be
Since I found Serenity
You can't take the sky from me."

Apparantly it was a rather short lived series that never actually aired by FOX, although they're planning to release it on DVD. I wish I could see it...

Anyway! back to things that were released, I started writing a horribly strange crossover of The Deadlock: Planetary Conquest saga and the StarCraft Saga. Yup. o_O (SC Terrans meet DeadLock humans would DEFINITELY be a funny scene...)

And now I'm off, for the moment. ^^;
