Quite an eventful day.
Jan. 11th, 2004 12:05 amOnce again, I wasn't home for most of the day. Me and ze parents went on a trip to the north of Isra Hell, this time to the Golan Heights, mainly for the water (It's been raining in the past few days, so there was bound to be quite a bit of water), but also for the... snow.
Yes, there IS apparnatly snow in Isra Hell. Freaky. o_o
We went a bit crazy with the digital camera we now have, taking about 186 pictures, including a bunch of nice waterfalls, snow, foresty things, occasional nice looking cliff - And we still had more pictures remaining on our memory card! And quite a few of them turned out so good, they could make excellent backgrounds for my random creations... Booyatta.
Of course, this means I wasn't online most of the day, but what the Nyaa ever.
(Uh... Don't mind the Nyaa. I've been in a horribly feline mindset as of late, for some inexplicable reason. I've also been watching way too many animutations.)
Also finally started reading Good Omens (by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman) and I must say that it truly and completely *ROCKS*. It's horribly British, and damn proud of it, too. And frelling hillarious. I haven't laughed like that reading a book since... I don't remember... And I haven't even finished it yet (I'm less than halfway through it, at page 127). Excellent so far. ^_^
What else to report? Oh yeah. I've started taking driving lessons lately. About frelling time. And I've started living in a more regular timezone for this part of the world (in other words, I sleep at nights now, rather than at days). It seems like I don't have too many people to talk to nowadays - Considering the fact that some people I considered close friends have pretty much drifted apart - the grand total of people I still talk to regularily (as opposed to when-they-rarely-bother-to-show-up) is now just 4 - and those four people can occasionally be found online somewhere around what is considered early morning for me (5 or 6 AM local time), I really don't have much of a reason to stay online in the middle of the night. Yup.
This being the grand totality of events for Saturday, January 10th, 2004. Let the madness resume as usual.
