Cody/Iori doesn't need to apologize to anyone, as he hasn't done anything wrong. He hasn't done anything USEFUL either, but what the hell ever.
Oh come on, he's done plenty of useful things. He tells the other kids when they're being stupid and he's almost always right about it. And he helped Oikawa so he could meet his partner! Iori is a good boy.
