Supposedly Reshiram and Zekrom are both part Dragon, though fuck knows anything else. It's also been confirmed that the games will have more differences than the exclusive PokeMon - though whether this means two different plots that interlock into each other (a-la the Zelda 'Oracle of X' games) or something less major that that... Well, we shall see.

What worries me is that Diamond and Pearl technically had different stories. I hope it's more major than that.

Technically it was the exact same story, except in the case of Pearl every time the word 'Time' appears it was erased and replaced with 'Space' and every time 'Dialga' appears it was replaced with 'Palkia' >>;

It kinda worries me honestly - because frankly? The fact that there's two games with different exclusive have always been a bullshit marketing ploy - designed to sell as many copies of the games to people as possible - and promote the whole idea of trading creatures around. If they're going to make completely different stories for each game, well, that's even MORE of a money grab - trying to get people to buy BOTH versions instead of one - which is something I don't approve of because frankly some people aren't MADE of money. >>;

I mean, I understand that too - but my view is, if they're going to make two games, they ought to be as different as possible. Though I'm not made of money either. XD

Not surprised by the Dragon typing whatsoever. After seeing them yesterday it's pretty much what I expected.

Hrm... I'm intrigued to see what their differences are. While it can be seen as a money ploy to get people to buy both games, I've always wanted to see bigger version differences in general. Games like PMD, Digimon World DS, etc. have done it where certain locations are slightly different, but it's still nothing major enough to push people to buy both versions. The Zelda games are a perfect example where I didn't buy both, regardless of the version differences. I just wasn't interested enough in 'em to do so.

I'd say, with a series like Pokemon, the people who'll be buying both Black and White would've done so in the first place (the version differences won't influence that). Anyone on the fence might opt to get both, but the people who never planned on doing so still probably won't - they'll just buy the version that appeals to them best.
