So far I finished 4 and hideous voice acting and semi-annoying platformery sections, 4 was pure awesome too.

I heard mixed reviews about Alter Code: F. Some of the changes were apparently very uncalled for... I might play it someday, but I want to play the original Wild ARMs first.

But yeah. I have quite a bit of 2 to go through, for now.

They're really good RPGs, but to be honest I perfer the original Wild ARMs to the remake. The remake is nice for certain aspects, but overall I find the dialog weaker at times and some of the new battle mechanics unneeded. If you can handle the graphics, I vote original WA over the remake - at least for your first play through.
