Remember the palm tree that was set on fire on November 28th? Guess what? Today, ANOTHER one caught fire! This one was even closer to our house than last one, and this one was faaaaaaaar more dramatic.

Maybe because a car in the house next door also caught fire. It started with a tire, I think, and proceeded to burn the whole thing quite nicely. This time, the police and fire departments arrived rather quickly though, and again, with the help of some local residents, the fire was put out with little to no damage.

Well, except for the poor sod whose car got burninated. When the fire was put out, one tire was completely burned off, a lot of the paintwork burned, the metalwork was bent out of shape in some places, and as soon as the fire dept. got the engine cover opened, they watered the engine to death. In short, this car is a total loss. I hope the owner had insurance. xP

The lucky thing was that there was no wind. With the right wind, a lot more cars - and a few structures - including our own - could have been burned. o_O

One wonders if this palm tree was ignited by the same pyromaniac that ignited last one.

On other (rather ironic) news, I recently finished my first proper pic of Flaricane, the hyper-pyromaniac villain of the Corynx saga.

And now, it's time for me to head off to bed, for I'm le tired.

In the yard of the house next door, there is a palm tree. Or rather, there WAS a palm tree, and there is now a CHARRED palm tree. Yes, the thing caught fire, or more likely was SET on fire as palm trees don't usually just spontaneously combust. And the thing was burning WAY too nicely to be caised by something like a still-burning cigarette carelessly thrown from above or something.

So here we were, sitting in the living room, minding our own business, when I look out the window and see everything's like ORANGE. "Hm, a bit too late for sunset" I think, "And it isn't the right kind of orange, either..." Then, I see the flying sparks and crap and then I'm like "TROGDORRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!" (AIR GUITARRRRR!)

So we all get out of the house, and the palm tree's like on fire, and there are flying spark and everything looks like an RPG fire spell. xD

Of course, by the time the fire department drove their asses here, the local residents almost put out the tree completely. Shows you how much you can trust your government, can you? (XD) Luckily no one was seriously injured, but it was still quite cool. BURNINATION! ^^

On other news. One of the computers in the house went keput a little while ago, and we got a new one to replace it. We've got a home network (which is what's holding all computers connected to the Internet using one spontaneous connection), and we wired the new computer in using the IP values and stuff from the one that broke down.

That's when the internet, and the entire LAN, suddenly KAMIKAZED. It just refused to work anymore. Wierdness.

Me and my dad spent hours on end trying to figure out just Doubleyou-Tee-Eff happened, and when we couldn't, my dad finally decided to contact the ISP's technical support. I was tired as hell at that point, so I went to sleep. Apparantly, they got everything fixed by that time (w00tage).

Art block is slowly starting to clear itself. TOO slowly for my tastes, but still.

Otherwise, everything's pretty much the same as usu-hell (well, it IS Isra Hell after all. ^_~), if you may pardon the outrageous pun. If you won't... It's entirely your problem. :P
