If this wasn't on the official site I'd call bullshit. But they're kinda nifty. So there. I like how it seems that the Black Legendary is White's and the White Legendary is Black's.

With a name like 'Zekrom' I suspect Dark/Steel. Though I wonder what the hell Reshiram is. o-o

Also dying to know what the hell their storyline is. How does one conquer the over-the-topness of Arceus?

Okay, so now I've calmed down a bit. Just... holy bugger, these guys look really funky. I'm not going to say "They look like ______!" or any of that because everyone else will more than fill that quota (and after a bit I get tired of reading it XD). I'm just going to say that these guys are gonna make two pretty dang cool Pokemon. Nifty names, too. ^^ (Although I have little idea how to pronounce "Reshiram".)

You know, when I first saw them, I was thinking "Dragon of Light" (for Reshiram) and "Dragon of Darkness" (for Zekrom.)

However the detailing on Zekrom is pretty hard to see.

Hey, just wanted to say that shiramu (白む) and kuromu (黒む) are both Japanese words. Kuromu maybe isn't in your J<->E dictionary, but it's definitely in Japanese dictionaries.

Shiramu means "turning white" or "growing white", kuromu means "turning black" or "tinged with darkness". They're used especially with regard to the sky, as in "the sky grows white at dawn" or "the sky is tinged with darkness at night".

The Re and Ze may come from Rei (レイ) and Zero (ゼロ), which both mean "zero". That's just a guess.

... Which makes me wonder if that's the reason that Reshiram is on the Black version cover and Zekrom is on the White version cover... Maybe they're polar opposites that are changing polarity. o-o
